They're striking the sets in St. Paul and the McCain-Palin ticket is off and running. John Myers spent the past few days with California's delegation at the RNC. He looks back on a week that was part media spectacle, part political ritual and part sleepover camp for gleeful GOP partygoers from all over the Golden State.

If you saw any close-ups of John McCain on Thursday night, you may have noticed him standing in front of what looked like a green screen. But some Internet detective work has revealed that what we saw on TV was actually part of a larger image projected behind him.
